The rental process from booking to pick up was good. However, Nextcar Catonsville should detail clean their vehicles monthly. This is the second vehicle I've rented, but I wasnot satisfied with the cleanliness.

The car I rented had dog hair all over the back seats andtrunk area. I’m allergic to dogs and asthmatic. It was aninconvenience to go and vacuum the car and wipe the inside down. I should have checked the back before I left, but I didn’t because I was never given a filthy vehicle in thepast.

I booked online and pre-paid for the company's insurance. When I arrived, I was told that 3rd party insurance was nothonored. Thus resulting in me paying for additional insurance and to date I am unable to recoup my money from the 3rd party insurance (Travelocity). I think it is poor customer service, especially during a global pandemic, for custoicipate. There are preventative measures your company should take to ensure that your customer's are not paying forservices that are not honored. I am very upset about thisand No one seems to care.

There was a long wait to rent the car. The insurance confirmation process is lengthy and I feel it could’ve been done prior to arrival to streamline this process. The agent that served had a previous client who decided to declinethe car because it was unclean and passed the filthy car off to me as an upgrade. I took it because I had been therreshener and use Clorox wipes to clean the seats. Consider the fact this is a pandemic due to COVID 19 and cleanliness has been of paramount importance and I had to sanitize my own car. You ask would I recommend you to someone else I needed a car the next weekend and chose someone else. Even though the manager offered me a discount. The answer is no I will NOT recommend nor use you again in the future!!

I had stopped renting from NextCar because the cars always smelled like weed and the customer service wasn't that great (this was about 10 yrs ago) but I received great and professional service from Larry and the car was also pretty clean and smelled fresh.

Only complaint I have is your collision damage policy. I have a $1,000 deductible on my collision insurance for the car I own. I was told that because my deductible was over$500, that I had to purchase additional insurance for $4.99 (not a big deal, but annoying). You should have just increased the hold on my credit card for an additional $500ain, not a huge deal, but left me with the "we're gonna rip you off some way, some how - even if it's just $4.99."I hope the $4.99 was worth it to you as it left a sour taste in my mouth and will definitely be top of mind when I consider future rental car options.

Only real complaint is that when I reserve a vehicle I always try to reserve a hybrid but not one of the last five times has it been a hybrid available by the time I actually go to pick up the vehicle

Very bad customer service skills and the lack of effort to help a customer with Insurance paying the bill, because they don’t have time to stay on the phone with the insurance company is a reason I will be spending my money else where.... Long-standing customers are unusually loyal to good customer services. Never again
