NextCar of Toronto offers great service and a large variety of car classes for your every travel need. For your convinience, we are located close to Pearson International Airport.
Whether you're here for business, or leisure, require a small car or a van to fit a group, we have the vehicle for you!

Airport Pick Up

UPON ARRIVAL PLEASE BOARD THE LINK TRAIN TO VISCOUNT STATION. THEN PROCEED DOWN THE STAIRS WHERE YOU WILL FIND A COURTESY PHONE TO CALL FOR PICK UP. LOCATION IS WITHIN 1 KM RADIUS OF THE AIRPORT. OR CALL 905-671-9444 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. Terminal 1 Train platform is located on Level 5 of the Terminal 1 Parking Garage. To get to the train platform from the terminal, take the West Pedestrian Bridge to the parking garage. Terminal 3 Train platform is located in the Terminal 3 Sheraton hotel pedestrian bridge. To access the train platform from the terminal, go to Level 3 of Terminal 3 and follow the signs up the escalator/elevator to the Sheraton hotel.

Payment Policy:

The following are accepted forms or payment: American Express Diners Club MasterCard Visa Credit Card Hold: The estimated amount of the rental plus 25% or a minimum of $1000.00 CAD will be authorized against your credit card at the time of rental. Deposit may increase if rental is long term. Stored value / prepaid / gift cards, or electronic cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. Debit Cards without a Master Card or Visa logo are not accepted at the time of rental but may be used to pay for the rental upon return. American issued Debit cards may be used to rent vehicles, cards must have the Visa or Mastercard logo. Canadian issued debit cards or Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $500.00 CAD will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process. Reservation may not be altered at the time of rental. A confirmation of your reservation does not mean that your debit / check card is acceptable. Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

Renter Requirements:

All drivers must be 23 years old, have a valid driver's license, ( Ontario Drivers must have full G licence )clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. U.S. driver's licenses are valid in Canada. Qualifications for renters from countries outside the united states & canada. - Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin. - Must have a valid passport. -Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.

Fuel:

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel. OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or we will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per Litre.

Cancellation or No Show

If you wish to cancel or modify your reservation, you must cancel or modify it through the same web site (source) where the reservation was booked at least 48 hours in advance.
Please contact location directly for any delays. If location is informed of any delay vehicle may be held as per your request.

Driving Restrictions

Unlimited kilometers do not apply for local rentals. Ontario residents receive 200 free kms per day, 1400 kms per week with a maximum of 3,000 kms on any rental and .20 cents for each additional Kilometer driven during the entire rental.
Border Crossing: Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day. Kilometers are limited to 200 KM per day, 1.400 KM per week with a maximum of 3,000 kilometers for any rental and .20 cents CAD for each additional KM driven during your entire rental.

The customer service was great, the in office staff were very helpful and patient with us as there was an unforseen issue with our credit card.The vehicle and the after service is where i am disappointed. I had a specific vehicle reserved due to mobility issues getting in and out of it andafter we got there were infromed the insurance didn't covestruck with a rock from a passing vehicle and paid the detuctable and now a week later cannot get any information just that the contract is closed. finally after 3 days of calling got to talk to someone and was told to call back in the morning. all I was looking for was a copy of the receipt for the repairs to the windshield... have tried callingin the morning and get put on hold and then cut off. verydisappointed

Worse customer service. Just scamming money from people. They advertise the car as unlimited mileage, when you showup they make up or change any rules to make you pay more.We bought the insurance online at the time of booking through Expedia and they wouldn't accept it. It took longer to deal with them then our flight to Toronto. We booked it but after, 3,000 km we'd be charged 20 cents a km. We returned the car a week early and it was paid for. But we weregoing to go over the 3,000,so it was cheaper to get a newrental car. Never again.

Very rude service and demanding addito$11.98 rental insurance per day even though already had insurance. Waite nearly 1 hour for shuttle bus and almost missed my flight The worst rental car company in the world!

The car started with 3/4 of a tank of gas. The location charges almost $12/day if you have prepaid insurance, or charge you $35/day for their insurance. No options on denying coverage. They make you pull up the full insurance policyif you come in with insurance to read the policy. They make you sign paperwork restricting you to the Ontario proviom Nextcar again and will advise others not to do so as well.

I will never rent from this car company again. Stop running four car companies out of one building when you clearlycan’t handle it. Worst customer experience I have ever had and your cars have so many scratches/dings that I was embarrassed to drive the car.

Customer service was great by the employee who went to the vehicle with me to check for imperfections etc. During booking it was unlimited km, opted out of additional insurance and I would receive a full tank of gas. Was enforced I must pay insurance and got 5/8 tank with only 800 km allowance.

The guy at the counter when I checked in was really nice but the wait time to get the car when I got there to the time I actually left the parking lot was an hour & a half.Ishowed up fully prepared with my insurance details etc . Dropping off the guy was very friendly & helpful. The car Irented was nothing similar to the one I requested bookingwarning light was on. For someone who flew in late at night and had a 3 1/2 hour drive. Needless to say I was so worried about it, I never did the drive and I got a hotel room because I was nervous I’d end up on the side of the 401 in the middle of the night. The fact that the person who brought the car around had to of seen the warning and didn’t address it prior to giving me the car or at the timeuntil I went and complained about it & he sent me to the front desk where I had to wait again where I watched 3 people that arrive after me get on their way additionally it h

Never even got the car when arriving late was beyond our control as it was due to a plane delay and refused to give us a refund. Would never recommend this money grubby company.

You advertise that your at the Toronto airport and your not. I had my flight delayed and got to Toronto at 11:30 not knowing that you were not on site and closed I had to spend another 300 dollars on a hotel and when I called in the morning to see if I could have someone come get me at myhotel you refused to do a pick up and it ended up costingall the extra costs for that we’re not outlined not to mentioned the suv I ordered wasn’t what I was given. So ultimately I will not be using your services again or recommending you to others.

It was unclear to me when I reserve the car that the site was not AT the airport. By the time we figured out that getting to the rental lot meant to taking a train to a remote pick up spot and then waiting in the bright sun for 25 minutes, it was fully hours before we got the car

There were surprise charges (quoted in USD - but didn't saythat anywhere on the confirmation or expedia website), was charged for "insurance transfer" - no car rental ever did that before, and we didn't get a Mercedes C300 as advertised.

This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. I waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick me up after beingtold 3 times it was going to be 20 mins, yet the ride wasonly 2 mins to the office. The agent who helped me was extremely rude. The office was unclean. The additional charge onto of the CDW was an unwanted surprise expense. The carhe car was 3/4 of a tank, which is hard to achieve so of course they received extra full at my cost. I will not recommend Nextcar, Jet, Fox or economy to anyone.
