Rental Requirements and General Qualifications

LOCATION IS WITHIN 1 KM RADIUS OF THE AIRPORT. OR CALL 905 671 9444 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. Terminal 1 Train platform is located on Level 5 of the Terminal 1 Parking Garage. To get to the train platform from the terminal, take the West Pedestrian Bridge to the parking garage. Terminal 3 Train platform is located in the Terminal 3 Sheraton hotel pedestrian bridge. To access the train platform from the terminal, go to Level 3 of Terminal 3 and follow the signs up the escalator/elevator to the Sheraton hotel.

Additional Drivers All drivers must meet minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply. Additional driver fee is $10.00 CAD per day plus taxes.

Please park the vehicle in EZ parking and lot at 3356 Elmbank road. An attendant will inspect the vehicle and will provide the shuttle to the Viscount station. After hours drop-off fee is $30.00. It will be added to your final invoice and the final receipt will be emailed to the email address on file.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle." At this Location, you must provide proof of bodily injury and property liability Insurance that extends to Canada at the time of rental. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present the required proof of insurance coverage. THE RENTER MUST PROVIDE PROOF IN THE FORM OF AN INSURANCE DECLARATION PAGE, SPECIFICALLY STATING COMPREHENSIVE AND COLLISION COVERAGE IS EFFECTIVE AND ENFORCED FOR THE DURATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT (this also applies to the coverage that may be provided through credit card companies and third party companies that will be used at the time of rental). An insurance declaration page is the document that defines your coverage and limits. Insurance cards WILL NOT satisfy the requirement to provide an insurance declaration page for self-insurance. If renter chooses to self insure and use /transfer their personal auto insurance for the rental car a Insurance transfer fee ITF of $4.99 /day will be charged . Personal Accident /Effects Coverage $11.95 per day By purchasing optional PAC you and your passengers are insured against bodily injury, some medical payments and accidental death while occupying the rental vehicle, subject to all the terms, provisions, and exclusions of a group policy. CDW $29.95 CAD per day / deductible $1250.00 CAD Glass & Tire Protection $ 8.95 CAD per day/ deductible $100.00 CAD If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle. If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive a portion of our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. There are exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver including comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail or acts of God. If you purchase Glass & Tire Protection we will waive a portion of our right to collect from you for comprehensive damages. Please read the back of the Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.CDW and Glass Tire Protection are optional; Your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle, check with your insurer if you are uncertain. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present proof of transferable auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage. You must provide proof of Collision Insurance that extends to Canada at the time of rental. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. US Citizens must bring in Canadian Non Resident Liability Card as proof of insurance . We requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Jet Car rental vehicle while on rent. This rule applies for all policies, including collision insurance purchased from "on line" booking sources. Some credit cards may provide you the benefit of collision damage waiver or you may purchase collision insurance online. This is not full comprehensive insurance .Credit card or online insurance only cover collision. Comprehensive surcharge of $11.95/day will be applied to all credit card or online purchased insurance.

For arriving airline passengers: Kilometers are unlimited with a maximum of 3000 free kilometers when the vehicle remains in the renting Province. If traveling outside of the Province, free kilometers are restricted to 200 free per day, 1,400 per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental. Access kilometers are charged at .20 cents CAD for each additional kilometers driven during your rental.

Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day and kilometers are limited to 200 KM per day, 1400 KM per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental and .20 cents CAD for each additional kilometer.

Unlimited kilometers apply to airline arriving customers only. Unlimited kilometers do not apply to local renters. Ontario residents receive 200 free kms per day, 1400 kms per week with a maximum of 3,000 kms on any rental and .20 cents for each additional Kilometer driven during the rental.

Maximum of 3000 free kilometers limit applies to all rentals.

Payment Information The following are accepted forms of payment: American Express, MasterCard, Visa & Discover.

A minimum of $1000.00 CAD will be authorized against your credit card at the time of rental. Deposit may increase if rental is long term.
Stored value / prepaid / gift cards, or electronic cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. Debit Cards without a Master Card or Visa logo are not accepted at the time of rental but may be used to pay for the rental upon return.
The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $1000.00 CAD will be assessed against your credit card at the time of rental.

Debit Cards:
American issued debit cards may be used to rent vehicles, cards must have the Visa or Mastercard logo.

Canadian issued debit cards or Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. Debit Cards without a Master Card or Visa logo are not accepted at the time of rental but may be used to pay for the rental.

Eligible debit cards must have the Visa, or Mastercard logo. Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $1000.00 CAD will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process. Reservation may not be altered at the time of rental. A confirmation of your reservation does not mean that your debit / check card is acceptable.

Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location requires a credit card in the renters name at the time of vehicle pick up. Customers who do not have a credit card will be denied rental.

Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you make your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation with must be present at the time of pick up.
Refund and cancellation policy:
A prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. We will hold the reservation for 2 hours after the reserved time.

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00. Please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not picked up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel. You can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time.

Grace Period:
Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an extra day charge will apply from minute one. The time and mileage or daily rate is subject to change, or a surcharge may be assessed, if the vehicle is returned before or after the due date or to a location other than the renting location.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or we will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per Litre.

To initiate the rental contract, you will need to provide a valid driver's license and a credit card. Additionally, we require a third piece of government-issued identification. All drivers must be 23 years old, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. A surcharge of $24.95 per day plus taxes apply if a renter is under the age of 25.
A charge of $14.95/day applies to renters with Probationary License. U.S. driver's licenses are valid in Canada. Qualifications for renters from countries outside the United states & Canada. - Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin. - Must have a valid passport. -Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.

The time and mileage or daily rate is subject to change, or a surcharge may be assessed, if the vehicle is returned before or after the due date or to a location other than the renting location.

Please contact location directly for any flight delays . If location is informed of any delay vehicle will be held as per your request.

There are no refunds for early returns

Vehicles cannot be used as a ride-sharing, Uber, Lyft, or any other commercial transportation use.

Location maintains a smoke free fleet. Smoking of any kind (cigarette, cigar, pipe, etc.) is prohibited in our rental vehicles. You will be assessed a minimum cleaning fee of $250.00 CAD if the vehicle is returned smelling of smoke , littered with ashes and pet hair
