NextCar of Toronto offers great service and a large variety of car classes for your every travel need. For your convinience, we are located close to Pearson International Airport.
Whether you're here for business, or leisure, require a small car or a van to fit a group, we have the vehicle for you!

Airport Pick Up

UPON ARRIVAL PLEASE BOARD THE LINK TRAIN TO VISCOUNT STATION. THEN PROCEED DOWN THE STAIRS WHERE YOU WILL FIND A COURTESY PHONE TO CALL FOR PICK UP. LOCATION IS WITHIN 1 KM RADIUS OF THE AIRPORT. OR CALL 905-671-9444 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. Terminal 1 Train platform is located on Level 5 of the Terminal 1 Parking Garage. To get to the train platform from the terminal, take the West Pedestrian Bridge to the parking garage. Terminal 3 Train platform is located in the Terminal 3 Sheraton hotel pedestrian bridge. To access the train platform from the terminal, go to Level 3 of Terminal 3 and follow the signs up the escalator/elevator to the Sheraton hotel.

Payment Policy:

The following are accepted forms or payment: American Express Diners Club MasterCard Visa Credit Card Hold: The estimated amount of the rental plus 25% or a minimum of $1000.00 CAD will be authorized against your credit card at the time of rental. Deposit may increase if rental is long term. Stored value / prepaid / gift cards, or electronic cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. Debit Cards without a Master Card or Visa logo are not accepted at the time of rental but may be used to pay for the rental upon return. American issued Debit cards may be used to rent vehicles, cards must have the Visa or Mastercard logo. Canadian issued debit cards or Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $500.00 CAD will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process. Reservation may not be altered at the time of rental. A confirmation of your reservation does not mean that your debit / check card is acceptable. Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

Renter Requirements:

All drivers must be 23 years old, have a valid driver's license, ( Ontario Drivers must have full G licence )clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. U.S. driver's licenses are valid in Canada. Qualifications for renters from countries outside the united states & canada. - Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin. - Must have a valid passport. -Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.

Fuel:

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel. OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or we will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per Litre.

Cancellation or No Show

If you wish to cancel or modify your reservation, you must cancel or modify it through the same web site (source) where the reservation was booked at least 48 hours in advance.
Please contact location directly for any delays. If location is informed of any delay vehicle may be held as per your request.

Driving Restrictions

Unlimited kilometers do not apply for local rentals. Ontario residents receive 200 free kms per day, 1400 kms per week with a maximum of 3,000 kms on any rental and .20 cents for each additional Kilometer driven during the entire rental.
Border Crossing: Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day. Kilometers are limited to 200 KM per day, 1.400 KM per week with a maximum of 3,000 kilometers for any rental and .20 cents CAD for each additional KM driven during your entire rental.

The shuttle took a long time to get to the airport pick up spot. Once I got to the office, it was very slow to check in. From the moment I called to get picked up until I was on the road was over 90 minutes. The checkout was much better. The shuttle driver was very nice!

I did not enjoy the experience of picking up the car. And from the roomful of unhappy, angry, disgruntled customers who were lined up to get their cars at the same time, I wasclearly not alone in thinking this. I had no idea when Ibooked the car that the rental company was off the airport grounds. From the time I arrived at Viscount Station, to to go to the courtesy phone at Viscount station, and call NextCar. But NextCar is not listed on the directory of carrental companies at that phone. So there was uncertainty and confusion right from the start. I had to start troublshooting to find the phone number to call you. The shuttle van was jammed with people. The waiting room at the rental location was jammed with unhappy people. There were at least 3 different sets of customers who were angry and accusing you of not divulging details on the contract. I have pictures of how dirty the car was . The men who worked febuary 25 were extremely disrespectful and i believethey need customer service training. Fair price and accurately charged. Only thing I would liketo see different is maybe getting another counter person. One person handling the business took me almost 30 minutes to drive away. Other than that, All good!!

The rental company wouldn’t honour the collision damage Ipurchased from Expedia- I had to purchase it again. They didn’t have the suv that I requested and gave me a full size car .and charged me more money. The staff were rude. The car was dirty and the tires were not great for winter driving. This was my first time booking Nextcar- and I will nware about the $1000 deposit required- there was no mention of that on Expedia. By mistakes we learn ..never Again!!!!

My family uses you all the time, and we recently purchased a home in Toronto so we decided to give you a try. Our plane was delayed 6 times which made us land at 12:30am (can provide flight info for proof) and you were closed. When we came next day after leaving hotel provided by American Airlines (right thing to do) your manager told us it woulsaid kindly ”please credit us and we’ll go somewhere else. We’ll use you next time” The answer was a hard No creditor refund, and without having the energy to argue, we left. It’s sad, because if you worked with us, we would have gladly used you as the company of choice. Unfortunate, without any compensation or hearing from a “normal” understanding human being, we will take our business elsewhere. Thanks for listening

Never going back. Staff were fighting with the customers.One said yes we are a horrible company, complain to the boss we only work on the counter. It was a terrible experience. Never ever will go back. I am amazed to have a rentalcar experience like this in Canada.

Nextcar are thieves. They charged extra for mileage while I had paid unlimited miles when I rented the car. They charged me a $1,000 deposit and not as a hold on my card, but literally as a withdrawal, with 7 days to be reimbursed. The car was extremely filthy from the inside to a point I had to clean it at home. Very bad experience. A very bad ell my friends to avoid renting from Nextcar, economy and all the shitty companies related.

I booked thru Expedia - the van that picked us up was old &dirty - the office was Dirty - I requested a Kia Soul & got a Toyota Camry - Malik was Rude and offensive & aggressive & upcharged $53.05 Insurance, which I had in place - they supposedly didn't have water / frozen pipes so the carhad salt inside & out (I took pictures) I should have readon't Be Back.
