Prepaid Reservation Terms and Conditions:
Your card will be charged for the total cost of this reservation when you reserve your car.
Please NOTE: Prepaid Debit Cards are not accepted at this location. Only bank issued debit cards are accepted.
Prepaid terms and Conditions
- The credit/debit card used to reserve the pay now rate must be in the renter's name and must be provided to NextCar at the time of rental. The name on the credit card must match the driver's name.
- At the time of rental, you MUST produce the same credit card you paid online and valid driver's license in your name.
- Your card will be charged for the total cost of this reservation when you reserve your car. The security deposit for the vehicle will be charged when you pick up the vehicle.
- PREPAID debit cards are not accepted at this location. (NetSpend, Bluebird, AMEX Serve,Chase Liquid, Movo, RushCard, etc) We gladly accept bank issued debit cards.
Physical Damage Coverage is required and must be provided by one of the following:
- Your personal auto policy with collision coverage. Verification required.
- Your credit card's 'Rental Vehicle Coverage'. Verification required.
- Your purchase of the Collision/Physical Damage Waiver.
- We require insurance verification as part of the rental process. Your insurance must be paid in advance for 30 days beyond the pick up date of the vehicle, with a deductible of $1,000 or less. See our complete rental requirements here for more information.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER POLICY
You can add up to 2 additional drivers. There is a charge from $12.99 USD plus tax per day per additional driver.RENTAL COVERAGES
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be declined using your credit card if the insurance offered by the card provides the necessary coverage. This option is available only if the payment for the car rental is made at the counter with the same credit card used on the website for prepayment. (if applicable)
• There is an additional charge of $24.99 USD per day for Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), subject to the vehicle category and excess amount.
• Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If accepted, SLI provides the renter and authorized drivers with up to $1,000,000 USD combined single limit for third-party liability claims. There is an additional charge of $15.99 USD per day for Supplemental Liability Insurance.
• Deductible/Excess: The deductible/excess is the maximum amount you will have to pay to repair or replace the rental car if it is damaged or stolen.RENTAL RESTRICTIONS
Vehicles can only be driven within the state of Florida. Under no circumstances may the vehicle leave the State of Florida. Otherwise, the renter will be charged a $1,000 USD plus tax cross-border fine, along with a mileage charge of $0.25 USD plus tax per mile for the entire rental mileage.FINANCIAL POLICIES
The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, Diners, Discover. American Express it’s not accepted.
It is necessary to present a valid credit card in the rental office in the name of the main driver to pre-authorize or charge the deposit amount.REFUELING POLICIES
Return with same level or pay the difference plus service fee.RENTER QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum rental age: 21 years.
Young driver fee: Applies to all drivers under 25 years old (usually from $14.99 USD plus tax per day).
Maximum rental age: 74 years. o Senior driver fee: Applies to drivers aged 70 and above (typically from $9.99 USD plus tax per day).
All customers should present the following documents in order to proceed with the rental:
Official ID (Passport or ID card).
Valid Driver’s License.
Credit or Debit Card on the main driver’s name.
Insurance coverage proof
The same credit card or same cardholder cannot be used to rent two or more vehicles within the same time period.OTHER POLICIES
• US residents must provide their own proof insurance as a (DECLARATION PAGE), your policy must be transferable to non-owned auto and for personal use. o We accept insurance from the following companies: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, Progressive, Mapfre, All State, USAA, Esurance, Farmers, Travelers, AAA, Nationwide, Auto owners, and any other insurance policy under the name of the renter, subject to coverage verification by our personnel by contacting the insurance company.
• If you have your own insurance, you must provide your insurance DECLARATION PAGE, it must be printed within prior to the pickup of the vehicle. Alternatively, presenting the information in a mobile app at the time of pickup is acceptable. This information must match the name, last name, and address of the main driver on the reservation. The insurance must show/include a minimum USD liability coverage and provide full (collision and comprehensive) coverage for the rental vehicle. Florida State Minimums are required.
• Provide Full (collision and comprehensive) coverage for the rental vehicle or another valid proof of insurance.
• The address on your driver’s license must match the address listed on your insurance policy.
