Rental Requirements and General Qualifications

Additional driver fee is $12.00/day and the driver needs to be at least 25 years old with their own insurance.

If the Vehicle is returned after closing hours, you remain responsible for all loss of or damage to it until we inspect the vehicle at our next business opening, time & mileage, and optional service charges will continue to accrue until our next business opening. There will be a drop box located to the right of the store entrance. Place keys in the drop box.

The deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until 15 business days after the end of the rental period.
The deductible/excess is the maximum amount you'll have to pay in order to repair or replace the rental car if it is damaged or stolen. 
The deductible/excess required will be $500 otherwise customer must provide an additional deposit for all cars only if the customer purchases our vehicle's insurance.
The security deposit is from $300 USD to 2,500 USD for all cars (variable). The security deposit will vary depending on the car class rented.
Customers who fail to cancel their reservation at least 48 hours prior to pick-up time, fail to show up for the reservation, or do not qualify for the rental will be subject to a one-day rental charge or a $50 admin fee, whichever is higher. All cancellations must be through the original booking source or notified in writing to our email Insurance information
All Reservations booked directly, through a merchant, walk-in or Booked through Third Parties, Pre-Paid Online or Through the corporate office, Rentals will be subjected to mandatory Supplemental insurance (and deductible coverage )if they fail to provide coverage for the rental car, for example, "Policy or State Limits" that will limit coverage to $10,000 due to state policy and therefore, it is doesn't cover our rental cars, and therefore they are subjected to additional supplemental insurance purchase to cover rental.
All Cars Must have insurance coverage, either the limits according to the company policy, or the CDW will be offered for the rental cars, if the CDW is Declined then the Customer Must pay the Deductible of $500 as a security deposit.
Insurance from a third party will not be accepted (Priceline, or Expedia Insurance)
A collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with a $1,000 deductible is available starting at $29.99 - $59.99 per day
Full CDW with a $0 deductible starting at $39- $89.99 per day (Coverage Cost Varies depending on the car rented)
There is extra an additional charge from $15.99 per day for Supplemental Liability (SLI).

Coverage is required to rent a vehicle, and it can be provided by your own verifiable policy, a credit card that has verifiable coverage for your vehicle, or purchasing our coverage. If you would like to provide your own insurance, you must show at the counter proof of insurance coverage that specifies the coverage limits and inclusions, policy number, and effective date. Proof can be shown in the form of paper documents, or displayed on a computer, phone, or mobile device screen. We accept insurance from the following US companies ONLY: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, Progressive, USAA, Esurance, Farmers, Travelers, AAA, Allstate, and Nationwide. If you plan on using your own insurance, you must show at the counter the ID card + declaration page which has to match the name last name, and address of the renter. Insurance must include a minimum requirements liability coverage of $300,000 / $500.000 and provide full Collision and Comprehensive for the rental vehicle, and a deductible of $250 Maximum allowed. If you will be using your own insurance a deposit to cover your deductible plus damages will be required from your credit card. Insurance from Puerto Rico, Canada or any other country outside of the US is not accepted.
The rental vehicle may be covered by Collision coverage provided by your credit card company. If coverage is provided by a credit card, we must be able to verify that coverage at the time of the rental. The full amount of the rental, including the prepaid amount, must be paid with the same card. A $2,500 security deposit will apply to those using credit card insurance.

No one-way rentals. No restrictions except for the 3,000 mile-per-contract limit. The Vehicle can not leave the state of FL. Cars that leave the state of Florida will be subject to a fine from $500 to $2500 depending on the destination traveled.

Non local renters presenting a debit card for payment must provide proof of a return airline, train, cruise ticket. The date of departing must match the date of vehicle return. International traveler`s must provided a major credit card at the time of rental. International traveler`s can pay with a debit card upon return of the vehicle. All debit card holders will need to provide proof of insurance and may be subject to LDW, RLP, or PDW Protection Options depending on insurance verification.We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There is a $300.00 (refundable) deposit over the rental amount taken at time of pick up. We do accept debit cards with a $500.00 dollar (refundable) deposit. Please note: Prepaid reservations require that the same card be presented at the time of rental as was used to book the prepaid reservation, and the name of the person making the reservation must be the same as the renter of the vehicle Debit Card Rules: Mandatory Debit Fee from $9.99 a day. When a renter, additional renter, or authorized additional driver presents an eligible checking account debit card at the beginning of the rental to qualify to rent, NextCar will perform an insurance verification with the customer’s personal or business auto insurance carrier to verify that the insurance policy has been prepaid for a minimum of 30 days from the date of the rental and will provide collision and comprehensive insurance benefits to cover the rented vehicle. If the customer's auto insurance policy fails to provide collision and comprehensive insurance benefits for the NextCar vehicle, the rental agreement will not be processed unless the customer provides a major credit card with verifiable rental car damage coverage or purchases the optional NextCar Coverage.

Vehicles should be returned with the same amount of fuel as they had at the time of rental. If returned low, additional fuel will be charged.

A valid driver's license is required. Renters age 21-25 may be accepted, but certain restrictions and fees may apply(The additional fees for those under 25 are $25 per).
REQUIREMENTS TO RENT:
To pick up the car, the following documents are required: a valid driver's license, credit or debit card in the main driver's name, and a Passport or ID card.
Proof of employment, and residency
An additional deposit is required from Florida residents to rent.

Vehicles returned excessively dirty or smoked in will be charged up to a $350 cleaning fee. An extension Fee may apply if the customer fails to contact us to extend the rental 48 hours before the return time and date. The Sunpass is Mandatory with each rental for a fee of $15 Fifteen Dollars per day for unlimited usage not to exceed the $15 Fifteen dollars and certain restrictions will apply. Customer must provide adequate full coverage to use their insurance, for example, they can not have a Policy Limit of $10,000 for proper damages but must obtain coverage for a minimum of $30,000 to cover rental car
