Rental Requirements and General Qualifications

Upon arrival at Houston IAH airport and collecting your luggage at baggage claim, please go to the ground level and take the exit to the car rental shuttle pick-ups, once in the car rental center go to “OFF AIRPORT CAR RENTAL PASSENGER PICK UP or VISITOR PARKING” you can also ask for instructions at the car rental center on where to go to get picked up.

You can add up to 2 additional drivers. There is a charge from $12.99 USD plus tax per day per additional driver.

• Additional Insurance (Collision Damage Waiver CDW) with zero excess/deductible must be purchased if using the following payment method(s): Cash, Debit cards.

INSURANCE POLICY:

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be declined using your credit card if the insurance offered by the card provides the necessary coverage. This option is available only if the payment for the car rental is made at the counter with the same credit card used on the website for prepayment. (if applicable)

• There is an additional charge of $24.99 USD per day for Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), subject to the vehicle category and excess amount.

• Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If accepted, SLI provides the renter and authorized drivers with up to $1,000,000 USD combined single limit for third-party liability claims. There is an additional charge of $15.99 USD per day for Supplemental Liability Insurance.

• Deductible/Excess: The deductible/excess is the maximum amount you will have to pay to repair or replace the rental car if it is damaged or stolen.

• US residents must provide their own proof insurance as a (DECLARATION PAGE), your policy must be transferable to non-owned auto and for personal use. o We accept insurance from the following companies: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, Progressive, Mapfre, All State, USAA, Esurance, Farmers, Travelers, AAA, Nationwide, Auto owners, and any other insurance policy under the name of the renter, subject to coverage verification by our personnel by contacting the insurance company.

• If you have your own insurance, you must provide your insurance DECLARATION PAGE, it must be printed within prior to the pickup of the vehicle. Alternatively, presenting the information in a mobile app at the time of pickup is acceptable. This information must match the name, last name, and address of the main driver on the reservation. The insurance must show/include a minimum USD liability coverage and provide full (collision and comprehensive) coverage for the rental vehicle. Texas State Minimums are required.

• Provide Full (collision and comprehensive) coverage for the rental vehicle or another valid proof of insurance.

• The address on your driver’s license must match the address listed on your insurance policy.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and held until 10 to 15 business days after the end of the rental period. The security deposit varies from $250 USD to $500 USD for all cars. Texas residents are required to pay a minimum $1,000 USD deposit when renting a vehicle.

The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, Diners, Discover. American Express it’s not accepted.

It is necessary to present a valid credit card in the rental office in the name of the main driver to pre-authorize or charge the deposit amount.

Our vehicle fuel policy is back-to-back. If we provided the vehicle with a full tank, it must be returned with the same amount of fuel to avoid additional charges. If the car is returned with a lesser amount of fuel, a refueling charge from $7.99 USD per gallon will apply. Please note that any unused fuel is not refundable.

Vehicle must be fueled with the correct fuel type, any damage resulting from improper fueling of the vehicle will be your responsibility.

Minimum rental age: 21 years.

Young driver fee: Applies to all drivers under 25 years old (usually from $14.99 USD plus tax per day).

Maximum rental age: 74 years.

Authorized entities must have issued the driver’s license at least 2 years before the date of the commencement of the rental and should be valid for the next 30 days after the rental period concludes.

The renter must provide a valid driver’s license in the Latin alphabet. If the driver’s license is not in the Latin alphabet, an international driver’s license is required.

For Non-US Residents: A passport or another government-issued ID (in addition to the driver’s license) will be required.

Senior driver fee: Applies to drivers aged 70 and above (typically from $9.99 USD plus tax per day).

To prove a customer’s non-US residence, the customer must be able to provide, upon our demand: A Driver’s License from their country of residence in the customer’s name. A returning ticket to their country of residence in the customer’s name, with a departure date.

Reservations will be honored for a period of 1 hour after the confirmed pick up date and time. After this period, we cannot guarantee the reserved vehicle, but you can be sure we will do everything in our power to provide you with a vehicle.

Customers will have 1 hour after the confirmed drop off date and time. After this time, charges for an extra day may apply.
