NextCar offers great service and a large variety of car classes for your every travel need.
We are ideally located close to Pearson International Airport (at Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East Lobby).

Child seat - $11.99 per day, GPS system - $11.99 per day. All equipments are subject to availability at time of rental check out. Call location to confirm the availability.

AGE Requirements

The minimum age requirement is 23 years. The underage surcharge for the ages of 23 and 24 is $24.99/day. Renters between the ages of 23 and 25 may rent the following vehicle classes: Economy through Full Size cars only. We may not rent luxury and specialty vehicles to younger than 30 years of age.

Additional Drivers

Any additional authorized drivers must meet age and driver’s license requirements. An additional charge of $9.99/day for each additional driver will be added to the cost of the rent.
Toll Pass

We offer toll transponder for $4.99/day which helps customers to avoid Camera and Toll Fee of $5.20/usage. Please note that the customer is still responsible for the toll charges depending on the usage as the toll charges are charged per kilometer travelled.

Fuel

Vehicles must be returned at same level as accepted at the time of pick up to avoid any additional charge. We will refuel and refueling service fee of $4.50/L will apply.
Reservation hold time

On the day of reservation vehicles are held for two hours after reserved arrival time. After the two hours window; you will be considered a no show and we may or may not be able to honor your reservation.

Please contact location directly for any delays. If location is informed of any delay vehicle ay be held as per your request. Reservations may not be altered at the time of rental.

Cancellation or No Show

If you wish to cancel or modify your reservation, you must cancel or modify it through the same web site (source) where the reservation was booked at least 72 hours in advance. If you do not cancel prior to your arrival by 72 hours or you are a no show; you may be charged $50.00 plus applicable taxes

Geographic Restrictions

We do not allow our cars to be taken beyond domestic (Ontario’s) border. In order to take our vehicles out of province, written agency’s authorization must be obtained. Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $9.99/day. Vehicles taken out of renting province will be limited to 200kms/day, 1400kms/week and 3000kms/Month (max).

Maintenance in Pandemic

Clean vehicles have always been significantly crucial to us. Now more than ever we know vehicle cleanliness is even more critical. Each Car & Truck rentals is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed by our COVID-19 sanitation protocol. This means sanitizing with a disinfectant that is in accordance to FDA STANDARDS, with particular attention to highly touched points.

When I arrived the vehicle I rented (7 passenger SUV) was unavailable as it hadn't been returned. They offered me a replacement vehicle saying that it was a similar class vehicle. Since I knew that tye vehicle being offered was a smaller 5 passenger vehicle, I declined and had to wait for the passenger suv to be returned. When it arrived, there was am disappointed as I was offered a smaller class vehicle for the same price a larger vehicle; I would have been okayif they disclosed that info to me and adjusted the price.Overall, my experience was one where trust was missing. Additionally, the gentleman who was being helped just before I arrive was receiving some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Yes the price was cheap, but the servicewas very unsatisfactory.

Unfortunately the customer service representatives we dealt with were not able to respectfully and kindly deal withus. Although we had a booking in place our flight was delayed to which we called the company and informed them we will be late but still coming. Once arriving the representative denied to give the vehicle to us because I denied therom ICBC. He further that he needto see the actual insurance slip which bylaw should be in the vehicle thus impossible for me to show. After speaking representative from insurance company who requested to speak to this agent at thedesk ( I believe his name was Michael) he denied to speakon the call and only wanted to see the email. Once we received the email he denied to even look at the email and only took our policy number which we already had from the start. The shuttle from the airport is not frequent enough. Also, when I picked up the car, I wanted to reduce the number of days from 3 to 2 but was told that the total cost wouldremain the same. It didn’t make sense. On the positive side, the service was great and the car was really nice.

Less courteous staff shuttle to the airport For dropp off was late n the staff was least pushed as they said the shuttle is responsibility of hotel!!! Unlimited milage scam another issue where for ontRio residents offering min milage per day which was totally unacceptable

Long wait for the shuttle. Wrong instructions for shuttle from the airport. Too far away from the airport. Only one agent. Not great customer service. Only 1/4 tank of gas when we got it. And shuttle driver on the way back to the airport said he was for hotel guests only!! Never again.

out shuttle bus driver deserves special thanks for retrieving our cell phone accidently left in the lobby of the rentalagency office and returned it to us at the airport in 30 minutes time. It was most appreciated and she (the driver) deserves special kudos for her generous effort

The staff at this location have no personality, they are uncommunicative, surly and just plain not nice. Some of myguests owned dogs so there was some dog hair in the veh when I returned it. I was told that it would be a $300 cleaning charge and they didn't offer any suggestions as to how or where I could go to get it cleaned for them. I went outd the car a day early and was told that they weren't able to correct the bill, They said I would have to go to "head office" to request a refund. The experience was completely the opposite when I rented a car from Avis the next day,happy, fun easy to get along with and no hassles. I'll certainly never use this location again and I'd be hard pressed to use Nextcar anywhere after this experience. Brian Bonsma

There was no one at the counter at the Holiday Inn. Had to wait 20 minutes before he showed. Not very pleasant. He had me sign so many forms - did not explain any of themto me. It was an extremely long day for me. Would havebeen nice to have that person at the desk greet me with asmile and explain the many forms I had to sign.

I rented a Nissan Altima or equivalent. Maybe a Hyundai Tucson is comparative to some drivers but I would much ratherdrive a Japanese car than a Korean SUV - especially in decent weather. Not much selection. Overall......just okay.

courteous, professional staff. Fine vehicle.would suggest big improved directions to get to shuttle service , especially for out of town visitors. Also updated info at shuttle pickup about usual pickup schedule would be great

I was over charged by Next Car. Charged twice. Once by Travelocity and then charged by York Car Rentals When I turned in car it was early and I had to leave the keys unattended at the small desk. Hotel attendant was completely rude. would not take and monitor the car keys and proceededto tell me we could not take the hotel shuttle back to air We had to order an Uber for 30 dollars.

Shuttle service was good from the airport. When we got to Nextcar we were 3rd in line. We waiting 1 hour 20 min to be served. Not sure why it took so long for each customer but if it takes that long then you should have extra staff on to help. Also our gas was only 1/2 full. Granted we weretold we only had to fill it 1/2 way to return it but thatrs paying more in gas than they used, as we have to overfill vice underfill if we don't want to be charged extra. Return was good and shuttle back no problems.
