Welcome to beautiful Ontario, Canada! York Car Rental is our authorized NextCar affiliate in Ontario.  

NextCar offers great service and a large variety of car classes for your every travel need.
We are ideally located close to Pearson International Airport (at Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East Lobby).

Whether you're here for business, or leisure, require a small car or a van to fit a group, we have the vehicle for you!

Child seat - $11.99 per day, GPS system - $11.99 per day. All equipments are subject to availability at time of rental check out. Call location to confirm the availability.

AGE Requirements

The minimum age requirement is 23 years. The underage surcharge for the ages of 23 and 24 is $24.99/day. Renters between the ages of 23 and 25 may rent the following vehicle classes: Economy through Full Size cars only. We may not rent luxury and specialty vehicles to younger than 30 years of age.

Additional Drivers

Any additional authorized drivers must meet age and driver’s license requirements. An additional charge of $9.99/day for each additional driver will be added to the cost of the rent.
Toll Pass

We offer toll transponder for $4.99/day which helps customers to avoid Camera and Toll Fee of $5.20/usage. Please note that the customer is still responsible for the toll charges depending on the usage as the toll charges are charged per kilometer travelled.

Fuel

Vehicles must be returned at same level as accepted at the time of pick up to avoid any additional charge. We will refuel and refueling service fee of $4.50/L will apply.
Reservation hold time

On the day of reservation vehicles are held for two hours after reserved arrival time. After the two hours window; you will be considered a no show and we may or may not be able to honor your reservation.

Please contact location directly for any delays. If location is informed of any delay vehicle ay be held as per your request. Reservations may not be altered at the time of rental.

Cancellation or No Show

If you wish to cancel or modify your reservation, you must cancel or modify it through the same web site (source) where the reservation was booked at least 72 hours in advance. If you do not cancel prior to your arrival by 72 hours or you are a no show; you may be charged $50.00 plus applicable taxes

Geographic Restrictions

We do not allow our cars to be taken beyond domestic (Ontario’s) border. In order to take our vehicles out of province, written agency’s authorization must be obtained. Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $9.99/day. Vehicles taken out of renting province will be limited to 200kms/day, 1400kms/week and 3000kms/Month (max).

Maintenance in Pandemic

Clean vehicles have always been significantly crucial to us. Now more than ever we know vehicle cleanliness is even more critical. Each Car & Truck rentals is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed by our COVID-19 sanitation protocol. This means sanitizing with a disinfectant that is in accordance to FDA STANDARDS, with particular attention to highly touched points.

the rate mentioned on Web. was confusing me , i thought it is in Canadian Dollar , unfortunately it was in $ ( US dollar ) which was not clear to me , and ended paying amountsacceding my budget , on the other hand , on receiving cari was charged twice , the full car renting and CD 750 as a security deposit ,

The worst car rental experience we have ever had. The company fraudulently charged $300 cleaning fee even though the policy for cleaning exclusively stated ONLY for smoking and pet hair. We did not smoke nor had pet in the car. Thecar was dirty outside and inside because of uncontrolled weather from snowing and raining everyday. Charging customet charge. Will dispute the charge with credit card company

I have lodged an official complaint with Expedia after Next Car charged me extra money for KM even though the advertisement on Expedia stated unlimited mileage. When I brought this to the attention of the NextCar rep at 600 Dixon Road he was rude and dismissive.

rent the vehicle with you, When I received it when usingit, we found 2 used face masks under the seats, when we returned the vehicle we returned it extremely clean, only used for 8 days and they forced us to pay the cleaning costwhen it is their policy it only says for the smell of cigarettes , pet hair or extremely dirty, which I do not apply

The pickup instructions clearly say to use the Holiday Inn shuttle to get to the pickup site. The shuttle folks told us that this is not an agreed arrangement and were quite annoyed but let us travel along anyway. This made for an awkward trip to get the car.

I reserved a full sized vehicle. I got a Honda Civic. My reservation said unlimited km but I later read in the fine print that there may be extra charges for going outside theProvince. That is fair but I told the rep at the time of delivery that I was entering Quebec, just near Ottawa. He simply said he would make a note of it. I was told nothing was levied an extra $111 in addition to my 2.5 days rental charge. Your policy makes no sense since I could have driven twice the distance to northern Ontario and paid nothing extra. I will never rent from you again. Your company will never grow with first time renters only and I hope you learn this the hard way. Dr. Tim Rindlisbacher
