When arriving at SXM Princess Giuliana Airport, go to the booth with the Empress Car Rental sign.  Look for Empress Car rental - Nextcar car rental is proud to partner with Empress in Sint Maarten.

When you arrive to SXM, our booth is located inside the airport.  We share space with Empress Car Rental, Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless.  We own all four of these companies and a fleet of over 200 rental vehicles on the island.  

From the airport, you will board our shuttle for a five minute ride to our car rental facility, and minutes later you will start your vacation in your Nextcar!

I reserved a car two months before my trip and when I arrived to pick it up, there was no vehicle available. I had to find a vehicle from another rental company. Will not book through NextCar again.

Notwithstanding my confirmed reservation and that if 3 other customers at SXM airport on Feb 12, we were advised that there were no cars available, and were left to figure things out for ourselves. Bad form!!

We had reserved a car but when we arrived at the airport there was no car available for us. Very disappointing, No chance that I will rent a car with your company in the future and no chance that I will recommend your company.

Despite having a reservation, the Nextcar representative at the airport told us that there was no car available and tried to steer us to rent from questionable people standing by, at double the price of our reservation. Looked likea scam, very disappointing. We ended up renting from Alamo.

I received texts to ensure I would be picking up my car. The last one was just after we landed. When I went to get the car there was no car. No offer to fix the situation in any way. You just left us stranded needing to take a $50 cab ride and try to get a car from someone else. Terrible!

Car wasn't available on arrival. Had to wait a full day, make 3 different calls, be shuttled around, and was not able to do planned things on day or arrival or the next day.Attitude at desk was they did me favors by taking me to the resort, picking me up from the resort, AND wanted to charge me the SAME price for one less day of rental and all tth desk staff before any price reduction was given. Whole attitude was/is NOT customer focused or centric.

I did not end up renting from you. Despite confirming andreceiving confirmation from the depot that I would be arriving to pick up the vehicle, when I then spoke to the representative at the airport 30 minutes later, I was told that you had no car for me. Unacceptable. I will never rent from Next Car again.

I wish I could give lower than 1. When we arrived at the airport, we were told that the car we reserved wasn't available. We had to find a car for ourselves after that. Horrible service, horrible experience.

Despite the fact that I received text messages reminding me about my upcoming car rental, when I arrived at the airport and found the Nextcar representative, he told me that there was no car available for me. I will also mention that my name was listed on his clipboard so I was expected. I'm still awaiting a formal apology but have not receivedstrating.

Your company sucks! You have no booth at the airport as indicated. The number that you provided went unanswered. Finally found a guy at the airport that said he would call nextcar and get me a ride to your office. After about 45 minutes, I found the same guy that told me that Nextcar did not have any cars. So you can take a reservation, but yoto Expedia. I believe you to be a scam. The guy that told me that you didn't have any cars was more than happy toput me in contact with an independent at the airport thatconveniently had a car for me but at a much higher rate. You need to visit St Martin and get this under control unless this is how you do business. No rep at the airport, no booth, no dedicated shuttle area. YOU SUCK!
